DFCC Vardhana Bank opens 41st branch in Wellawatte

DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB), the everyday banking unit of DFCC Bank, welcomed a new addition to its island-wide network with the opening of its latest branch – its 41st – in Wellawatte.

Located at No. 02, 33rd Lane, Wellawatte, the new branch will now add more value to customers in the area as continue to lay their trust with one of Sri Lanka’s fastest growing commercial banks. In a bid to provide a better service to its customers, the new branch offers spacious premises, parking and quick access to DVB’s banking services.

The opening of the Wellawatte branch is a continuation of DVB’s promise to serve the nation by making everyday banking needs of all its customers as efficient as possible.

Recently, DFCC Vardhana Bank’s national long-term rating at 'AA-(lka)' (AA minus (lka)) was affirmed by Fitch Ratings Lanka confirming that the outlook for the bank remains stable.

With islandwide branch expansions taking place in the areas of Galle, Horana, Kalawana, Nuwara-Eliya and Avissawella, DVB continues to rank as one of Sri Lanka’s top banks. With the strategic intention to encourage the habit of saving, DVB also recently signed up with Sri Lanka Post: ensuring that their services would be available at key post offices around the country. During a relatively short span of 5 years, DVB has achieved significant progress with a branch network numbering 41.
