DFCC Vardhana Bank now in Ambalangoda and Awissawella

Thursday, May 21, 2009: DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB) continues its promise to serve the nation by making everyday banking needs of its customers as efficient as possible. Recently, DVB, the commercial banking arm of the pioneer Development Bank, DFCC Bank, opened two new branches in Avissawella and Ambalangoda. The Ambalangoda branch, opened on the 21st of May is located at 26B Galle Road Ambalangoda. The Awissawella branch opened on the next day is situated at 27/29 Yatiyanthota Rd Avissawella.

A fully fledged promotional campaign was held at the opening of both branches, which were attended by all leading businessmen from the respective areas who indicated the acute need for effective banking services in their areas whilst praising Vardhana Bank’s approach to banking.. A special interest rate is provided for 3 months Fixed Deposits in both these Branches for a period of two weeks from the date of the opening of the Branch in order to offer an added benefit to the public in these areas with the arrival of the Vardhana Bank.

The opening of the new branches exhibits DFCC Vardhana Bank’s initiative in strengthening its operations in most of the districts island wide.
