as:
Account Sweeping Facilities
Account sweep is a transfer transaction
between two accounts to enable the initiating
account to remain at a nominated balance. The
sweep can be activated in two ways:
- As a credit to the initiating account when
its balance drops below a nominated amount (Pull);
- As a debit when its balance exceeds a nominated
amount (Push).
The customer has the ability to define the account
sweeping thresholds and target balances based
on their individual requirements to ensure minimum
balance is maintained in a current account (or
designated savings account) and the balance to
be transferred to another designated savings account
(or current account).
